PixelFormation Kiosk Control Privacy Policy

PixelFormation Kiosk Control is provided by PIXEL.FORMATION PTY LTD (“Pixel Formation”, “we”, “us” or “our”). This policy explains how the PixelFormation Kiosk Control iPad application handles information.

1. Information collected by Pixel Formation

PixelFormation Kiosk Control does not transmit personal information, analytics, advertising identifiers or usage information to Pixel Formation.

We do not use advertising networks, analytics services or third-party tracking SDKs within the application.

2. Information stored on the iPad

The application stores operational configuration locally on the iPad, including:

  • The configured kiosk website URL

  • Kiosk preferences

  • Local administrator username and password

  • Local administration session information

  • Local web-server port

  • Settings relating to the visibility of on-device controls

This information is used only to operate and administer the kiosk. Pixel Formation does not receive or remotely access this information.

Local configuration remains on the device until it is changed, the application is removed, or the device is erased.

3. Local administration interface

The application provides a local web-based administration interface. It may display operational information including:

  • Battery level and charging state

  • The currently displayed website URL

  • The iPad’s local administration address

  • Kiosk configuration and device status

This interface is intended to be accessed only by authorised administrators on the same trusted local network. Access is protected by administrator credentials.

The organisation deploying the application is responsible for securing its local network, protecting administrator credentials and controlling who can access the administration interface.

Pixel Formation does not receive information exchanged through the local administration interface.

4. Websites displayed by the kiosk

PixelFormation Kiosk Control displays a website selected by the organisation administering the iPad.

Websites displayed through the application may independently use cookies, collect information or communicate with external services. Those activities are controlled by the website operator and are governed by that operator’s privacy policy, not this policy.

The deploying organisation is responsible for selecting appropriate website content and ensuring it has the necessary rights and authority to display that content.

5. Device management services

An organisation may deploy the application using Apple Business Manager and a third-party mobile device management service.

Those services operate independently from PixelFormation Kiosk Control and may process device, account or network information according to their own privacy policies and agreements.

6. Disclosure and overseas processing

Pixel Formation does not disclose information from the application to third parties and does not transfer application information overseas.

A configured website, mobile device management provider or network provider may process information in other countries under its own privacy practices.

7. Access, correction and deletion

An authorised administrator can view and change locally stored kiosk configuration through the on-device settings or local administration interface.

Local application information can be removed by deleting the application or erasing the iPad. Requests concerning information collected by a configured website or device management provider should be directed to that service’s operator.

8. Children

PixelFormation Kiosk Control is a business administration and kiosk application. It is not designed or directed specifically toward children.

Because administrators can configure external web content, the deploying organisation is responsible for ensuring that displayed material is appropriate for its intended audience.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the application’s functionality or information-handling practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the latest version.
